Klampress Belt Filter Press

The Klampress offers continuous dewatering by means of two porous filter belts, which allow free water drainage in a gravity section and pressure filtration in a shear roller section.  Sludge is subject to shear forces created when the upper and lower belts travel through an arrangement of pressure rollers, varying in diameter.  The combination of this roller system and a substantial gravity drainage section results in a high throughput and a massive dewatering capability, so producing a dry friable cake discharge.
