Ashbrook Simon-Hartley's process capability draws on a comprehensive range of process products to create bespoke solutions for water and wastewater treatment applications.

With experience in tackling process problems around the globe, often in the most demanding of environments, whatever the process challenge we can offer the solution. Our track record of project successes includes complete sewage treatment plants, biological treatment systems and water clarification, purification and re-circulation.

The process systems product range extends from the traditional to the cutting edge including proprietary and unique technologies for applications such as the SBR Plus Sequence Batch Reactor (SBR), IMAS Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) and Quay microwave powered UV disinfection system.

Whatever the challenge these technologies will be engineered into tailor-made solutions that meet the challenge and optimise process performance.

Ultra-Violet Disinfection
UV is a proven technology of choice for disinfection in the water industry. The unique system uses electrodeless lamps lit by Microwave technology. These lamps are high output, low temperature.

Sequencing Batch Reactor
The SBR Plus combines all the steps of a conventional treatment plant with biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal in a single reactor tank. By replacing the three separate steps with a timed sequence in a single basin, the footprint required is significantly reduced.

Package Sewage Treatment
Packaged sewage treatment plants combine all the steps of a conventional treatment plant in a containerised enclosed unit. Typical applications are remote areas serving small populations where they offer a far more cost-effective solution than construction of conventional plants.

Membrane Bio-Reactor
Membrane Bio-Reactors do away with the need for a final clarifier and are increasingly being used to reduce the size of sewage treatment plants and improve effluent quality. Additionally, the IMAS process maintains separate biological and membrane processes to eliminate fouling problems and associated high-energy consumption.
